This was my spare engine for my 1988 Jeep YJ. It was in for about a month (ran beautify) before I dropped in a 4.0 out of a TJ (more power). This thing is clean, down to every detail. I have all the parts for those of you thinking about a conversion from the 4 cylinder. I have a Weber 32/36 carburetor on it now and I also have the stock Carter Carburetor for those keeping it smog legal. I also have all the motor mounts, alternator & brackets, stock fan, ignition coil, and all the original hardware (the motor has a Stainless Hardware Kit). This motor is basically turn-key.
One spark plug wire is missing; I took it for my 4.0 when I did the install. Also, the Webber carburetor jets are a tad small. The proper jets and power valve should run you $38.00 from REDLINE performance online. I already have all the information for it.
